Spring is Coming!!!

The weather is finally getting warmer and I can't wait for all the spring and summer activities we will be able to do outside! I know its been awhile since my last post but here is what I have found this weekend and in case you are new - I have started to include more cities outside of my normal area because we are moving and I need to get ready for all the new stuff I find. Enjoy and as usual hope we see some of ya'll out and about.


FRIDAY


Irish Festival

If you want to check out the Irish Festival for free, make sure and go tonight between 6 and 7 p.m. at Fair Park! The North Texas Irish Festival has been in existence for 28 years, and has established itself as "The Largest Gathering of Irish in the Southwest". The festival includes live entertainment on 8 stages, dance exhibitions, games, traditional Irish food and drink, cultural displays and educational workshops, children's area, Celtic artists, Scottish Clan Village and much more. All ages. Fri 6-11pm, Sat 10:30am-11:30pm, Sun 11:30am-7:30pm in Dallas at Fair Park.

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Kids can stop by Home Depot this Saturday, March 6, from 9-noon for a Kids Workshop to build this Rain Gauge.

The workshop is designed for children ages 5-12.

Free.

Crow Collection of Asian Art Museum

Simon Kidgits Club members are invited to stop by the Kidgits Craft Korner in Center Court every Saturday at Irving Mall. All craft materials are provided by Simon Kidgits Club.
In the mall, but too busy to stop? Families on the go can pick up a take-home project.

Price: This event is free to Simon Kidgits Club members. Kids can join the club and join the fun for a $5 annual membership fee.

St. Patrick's Day celebration

Saturday, Mar 6 1:00p to 3:00p at Grapevine Mills, Grapevine, TX
Grapevine Mills invites children of all ages to its Simon Kidgits Club St. Patrick’s Day Event. Kids will have the opportunity to build their own St. Patrick’s Day decorative door knob hanger. Arts and crafts materials, including shamrock and leprechaun images and designs, will be provided, along with plenty of green and gold.

Kid's Fishing Day
Family fun with kids in mind. Bring your own rod, reel and bait.
