Christmas Time is Here!

Yeah it is Christmas time. All the decorations are up and the tree is ready for Gillie to put on the ornaments! Now I just need winter to really get here so we can light a fire, roast marshmellows and have hot cocoa. Soon, right???

Historic Downtown Grapevine
North Texas' largest lighted Christmas parade, The Parade of Lights, will dazzle thousands of merrymakers with a captivating display of over 100 colorfully lighted floats, which pass through Historic Downtown Grapevine to the tunes of festive holiday music provided by numerous marching bands. The parade will take place on December 3 and will begin at Main St. and Vine St. and heads north on Main St. to Wall St.

Christmas Parade of Lights
"A Star-Spangled Christmas"

Celebrate the spirit of "A Star-Spangled Christmas" at this year's Christmas Parade of Lights. This event is a spectacular display of moving lights. Organizations of all kinds are welcome to enter floats in the best parade in Texas! Let your imagination run wild as you consider this year's theme – "A Star-Spangled Christmas."


Christmas on Main Street
Be sure to stop and enjoy Christmas on Main in Historic Downtown Grapevine. The event features Santa, jolly Christmas characters, complimentary carriage rides and decorations adorning the mile-long stretch of road. Special guests include Ellie the Elf, Frosty the Snowman, Santa on stilts and children can play Reindeer Games, while parents enjoy the nostalgic taste of holiday Kettle Korn.
