Bring the entire family and enjoy a day of fun and friendship with your fellow parishioners. Teens and young children can enjoy the Cliffs of Mohr Rock Climbing, Mourne Mountains Obstacle Course, Belfast Bowling, Step Dancing Bear Walk, McDino Boune House, Waterford Duck Pond, the Boogie Woogie Choo Choo and the O’Snoopy Ball Roll. Members of the Grapevine Fire Department will also be on hand for a meet and greet and children can get an up-close view of a real fire truck. Kids aren’t the only ones that will enjoy the day as adults can find great bargains at the Killarney Greenery Nook while avid readers will enjoy perusing the Trinity Hall Book Nook. Don’t forget to bid on your favorite basket during the silent auction held throughout the day or take part in the many Bingo games. Finally, take home sweet treats from the St. Francis Bake Sale

Monster Bash Observes 40th Anniversary of Lake Worth Monster Sightings
 What: This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Lake Worth Monster sightings. Monster Bash promises to be a fun event for the entire family as Fort Worth residents celebrate a local legend and the habitat he calls home.
 When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Oct. 3
 Where: Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, 9601 Fossil Ridge Road
 Activities: Families can participate in hayrides, bison feeding, canoe tours, vendors, a festival area, monster-tracking, guided hikes and storytelling. The Skip Pullig Band will be performing their new album, including the song "The Goatman" which will be released to Texas radio stations in early September.
 Admission: $4 for adults; $3 for seniors; $2 for ages 3-17; free for children under 3 and for Friends of the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge. Most activities will be free, but some will require a $5 fee.

This is Big Band at its best! piece band in the land with a traditional Big Band sound. This band plays hits from the 40's and 50's such as; In the Mood, Little Brown Jug, Satin Doll, Sing, Sing, Sing, Fly Me to the Moon, and many, many more. If you like Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and Count Basie, you will love the Lone Star Jazz Orchestra.

Three Open Houses, One Day!
Save the date! On Saturday, October 3 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. the Euless Fire, Police and Parks Departments will host Open Houses. All events are free and everyone is invited!

Join us for a tour of the facility along with great fire safety activities for your children. Visit with clowns from the S.A.F.E.T.Y. Troop, along with Sprinkles, the police department's new safety clown.

Would you like to turn your yard into a native landscape? Please join us for an Open Greenhouse. Members of the Parks staff will answer your questions about plantings that work well in our climate and which ones provide more blooms with less water. Also, see rainwater harvesting systems in action. You may bring your own bag to fill with mulch for your garden beds. Limit one bag per person.

In addition to great activities for the kiddos, meet with members of the Citizen's Emergency Response Team, Citizen's Fire Academy, Citizen's Police Academy and Citizens on Patrol. In addition, representatives from each department will be available to answer questions and discuss their important role in the community.
