Friday –

Grapevine – Main Street Days in Grapevine is all weekend but if you can hurry you can get in free tonight before 5pm!

Arlington – Star Party in River Legacy Parks. May 15th, 6:00 pm, Free.

Saturday –

Southlake – Spend Saturday evenings at Town Square listening to some of the area’s greatest talents. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs for a relaxing evening with your family. Light refreshments will be provided. Free.
Masterworks Music Series, May 16th, 7:30pm to 9:00pm – The Killdares

Southlake – Art Festival at La Petite 10am to 2 pm. Free crafts, goodies and giveaways!

Hurst – Spring Tea Party, Hurst Library, 3pm to 4pm, Ages 4 to 11, boys and girls welcome. Dressing up is encouraged! Refreshments, crafts, manners and stories. Free!

Irving - Summer Activities Fair - The mall's summer activity expo features information on summer classes and camps, reading programs, party ideas, home improvement projects, travel ideas and vacation getaways, and more - as well as entertainment, craft activities for kids, door prizes, and giveaways. Located in the mall's Center Court.Ages: All AgesTime: 12n-4pm Cost: Free

Sunday –

Fort Worth – This one isn’t exactly free but I have been dying to do this ever since I saw it.
Canoe Fest: Come out and enjoy a bit of canoeing on your own on the quiet waters around Greer Island. Canoes, paddles, and lifejackets provided. Children must be 5 years or older and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents must sign a liability waiver for minor children. NO REGISTRATION NEEDED, FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED. Meet at Greer Island. $5 (with paid admission)/MEMBERS $3. Noon - 4 p.m.
