Would you drive four hours for mexican food?

Well we did! Last September when we took our family vacation to Houston our hotel concierge told us about this little hole-in-the wall Mexican restaurant and told us it was the best food she had ever eaten. Well we are total Mexican food snobs and love to eat it so why not! She was not lying.

So with a three day weekend in front of us and no real plans for Valentine's Day we decide to jump in the car Saturday afternoon and drive the four hours to Houston, spend the night and eat at our (now) favorite Mexican food restaurant, Fajita Flats!

Seriously though, this place has the best margaritas (strong!) and best fajitas. We looked them up online to make sure they were still in business before we wasted the gas - and there was not one bad review out of like 6 pages of comments! So for anyone who is in Houston, you have to stop by Fajita Flats near the Galleria and have some delicious Mexican food that you will probably drive back one weekend for too!!!

  1. I personally would never drive 4 hours for mexican food! But hey, to each his (or her) own. At least you enjoyed it, that would have really sucked if it wasn't good. Was Gillie with ya'll?
